Each home and family is unique. That is why it I customize an organizing system specific to your needs, routines, lifestyle, and budget. Transforming your space is a 4 step process:

STEP 1 | FREE IN-HOME CONSULTATION

Each project begins with a free in-home consultation. During this part of the process I will come to your home to meet you and tour your area(s) of concern. We will discuss your current storage challenges, functions for the space, daily routines, preferences, and what (if any) items you would like to repurpose. I can provide design services and storage system installation when needed. I will also make recommendations for project materials based on your preferences and budget.

STEP 2 | PLANNING

Based on the information I gather during your in-home consultation, I will customize a system that maximizes your space and is sustainable in the long term. I will then draw up a proposal with your customized pricing. The estimate will include my price for my services as well as pricing for supplies. I will purchase all necessary project materials including, but not limited to, product and storage systems. This allows you to benefit from the trade discounts I receive. Because we charge by project, not by the hour, you can rest assured that your project will be completed in the most efficient manner possible.

STEP 3 | PROJECT DAY

My team and I will begin by sorting and categorizing items. Once items are neatly sorted and categorized, we will guide you through the decluttering process. You will not need to discard anything you don’t feel comfortable passing on, however, if you feel there are items that are damaged, not needed, or can benefit someone else, we can support your decision-making and facilitate removal of those unwanted items. We then implement my design plan using the product and systems we have prepared for you.

STEP 4 | WRAP UP

Enjoy…. You have a sense of peace seeing your newly transformed space! I will provide long term maintenance strategies so that you are able to keep your space neatly organized well after I have left.

What is a Professional Organizer?

A Professional Organizer is a person that can help you eliminate clutter. I organize and improve any inefficient and underutilized home (such as closets, kitchens, playrooms, and more) and office spaces. I help you sort thru your belongings, then guide and support you thru decisions such as what items should kept, donated, sold, or discarded.  By understanding your lifestyle, routines, needs, and what got you disorganized in the first place, I establish custom systems that not only help you get organized, but stay organized. 

Do I need a Professional Organizer?

Sometimes life gets too busy and there isn’t enough time.  Sometimes there is a disconnect between knowing what has to be done and executing. Sometimes you get to the point where you are embarrassed to let guests see certain areas of your home. Sometimes you realize you aren’t as productive as you could be. Sometimes it’s just too overwhelming. There are so many organization tools, bins, and methods available that it is easy to drown in opportunity. Wasting time and money on the wrong organization tools is expensive and exasperating! People always ask which is best. Do you throw things away?

Decluttering and organizing are 2 different things. Decluttering is simply the process of getting rid of unwanted items that are taking up precious space. Typically, while decluttering you will come across items you no longer need, want, or realized you had.  I can help guide you thru the process of deciding what you want to keep, discard, and donate if you so choose. You do not need to toss anything you are not comfortable discarding of. You (and only you) decide what you will and will not keep. I organize everything (even if you keep it all) that is left.

Unlike most Professional Organizers that charge by hour, I charge by project. You will know, with certainty, how much your project will cost from beginning to end. Prices start at $450.
